rv.py - Recursive Image Viewer

A slideshow program that shows images contained in many subdirectories. It allows for the usual random / looping / timeout options.

Project Description

The idea was to make a simple cross platform image viewer that just ran from the command line and can slideshow images contained in numerous sub directories. I am often annoyed that other packages don't do this because it makes slide shows of my digicam archives kind of difficult since they are chopped into many subdirectories.

It is written in Python and as such should work on most systems. It does require Python 2.2 + and a recent version of Pygame to run. It supports the normal graphics types like JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP,...

For help run rv.py:

python rv.py
