It looks like jTime is just about ready for public use. jTime is basically a very simple web based timesheets tracking service. It’s open source, written in Python, easy to install. You can also just use my server to store your time sheets. The intent of this package is to provide timesheets / basic invoicing and reporting to individuals. It was designed to be very simple to use and extend. So please hammer away at it. Use it, and let me know what you would like added (mostly new reports).
jmlm.py and packages have been updated.
A spelling mistake was fixed in jmlm.py.
A few new features were added to smtppush including:
- -i, Extract Recipients option
- Can hardcode default from / smtp server addresses in script
- Help (-h) upgraded to include more help
- Alias system added
We had another good CLUG Meeting last night. Peter, Szamir and Myself did mini-presentations. Peter spoke on optimizing Linux for 486′s, Szamir on file systems and myself on qmail. I think my presentation went reasonably well. I didn’t try and use slides this time and instead handed out a single page of notes on qmail and simply spoke about it. Hopefully I’ve won over some people
After the meeting we headed out to the Regal Beagel, a local pub, and stayed chatting until one in the morning. Wow.
